Student Travel Grant Opportunity

We are excited to announce three travel grants generously sponsored by the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS). These grants are designed to support student participation in the LRAC Challenge, providing an opportunity for students to join us in person to collaborate, engage, and showcase their contributions.

The grants aim to reduce financial barriers for students, enabling broader participation in this unique experience.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be enrolled as students at the time of application.

  • Applicants must be confirmed participants in the LRAC Challenge.

  • Applicants must have made a valid final submission per the challenge rules.

  • Applicants must be the first author of an accepted ICASSP’26 LRAC Satellite Workshop paper.

  • Applicants must not be employees or internally contracted vendors of governments and government-affiliated companies or organizations.

  • Travel must be required to attend the challenge and workshop in person.

Grant Details

  • Three grants are available.

  • Each grant can be used to reimburse travel-related expenses up to a maximum of $1,500 USD.

  • Eligible expenses include challenge-related transportation, accommodation, and workshop registration fees.

  • Reimbursement will be provided after the event upon submission of valid receipts and required documentation.

Important Dates

  • Applications Open: 10 Decemebr 2025

  • Applications Close: 22 December 2025

  • Notification of Award: 29 January 2026
