  • Workshop Agenda: The tentative agenda for the 2026 LRAC Workshop has been posted—we are excited to announce the following:

    • Keynotes: Three keynote talks by distinguished speakers: Jean-Marc Valin (Google), Nicola Pia (Fraunhofer IIS), and Cullen Jennings (Cisco Systems).

    • Panel Discussion: A panel discussion on Are Neural Codecs Ready for Low-Resource Reality? Potentials and Pitfalls in the AI Era — featuring leading experts in the field: host Minje Kim and panelists Yossi Adi, Nicola Pia, Jean-Marc Valin, and Cullen Jennings.

If your submission was affected, you should have heard from “ICASSP 2026 Papers papers@2026.ieeeicassp.org” confirming your registration is correctly recorded. If you haven’t received the email or are experiencing any issues, please let us know.

  • Author Registrations Issue: We are aware of an issue affecting multiple author registrations for the 2026 LRAC Workshop on the ICASSP registration system.

    • If you have received an email from “ICASSP 2026 Papers papers@2026.ieeeicassp.org” advising that your paper lacks author registration, and you believe this notification is incorrect, please forward the email to the ICASSP 2026 registration support team at: registration@2026.ieeeicassp.org along with the proof of registration.

    • Please note that the ICASSP organisers have been notified and are working on addressing this issue.

  • Workshop Registration Update: The capacity for the LRAC Workshop has been increased, thanks to the support from the ICASSP organizers. Additional registration slots are now available. Please refer to the registration information below.

  • Workshop Registration Information:

    • Registration for the 2026 LRAC Workshop is part of the ICASSP 2026 Registraion process.

    • If you are attending only the workshop: In Section 4 - Registration Selection, select Workshop Full-Day Only (note: main conference registration is not included).

    • If you are attending the main conference: In Section 4 - Registration Selection, select one of the Conference Registration options. Then, in Section 5 - Optional Events, add the LRAC Workshop.

    • If you have already registed for the main conference: You can add the LRAC Workshop to your registration by logging into the ICASSP 2026 Registration page and selecting LRAC Workshop in Section 5 - Optional Events.

  • Workshop Capacity Reached: Thank you for your interest in the 2026 LRAC Workshop. Registrations for the workshop have sold out. We are working with the ICASSP organizers to expand capacity. We’ll keep you updated.

  • Non-Archival Track: The submission deadline for non-archival track papers has been extended to March 7, 2026. However, please note that in order to present an accepted paper at the workshop at least one author must register. Workshop registration slots are limited.

  • Workshop Registration: The registration for the 2026 LRAC Workshop is now open via the ICASSP 2026 Registration Page. Registration is required for attending the workshop as well as for presenting a paper at the workshop. Please note that workshop registration slots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Travel Grants: The student travel grant online application form for the 2026 LRAC Workshop is now live. The application deadline has been extended to January 19, 2026.

  • A reminder to authors: the camera-ready manuscript submission deadline for the accepted workshop papers is January 7, 2026 AoE. Submissions can be made via: https://cmsworkshops.com/ICASSP2026/papers/findpaper.asp using the login credentials provided during the original submission.

  • Results of the peer reviews for the archival track paper submissions are in. Authors should check their email for the notification. Thank you to all that submitted their work and congratulations to those whose work has been accepted!
